The NFL announced today that tickets to the games that may be cancelled due to a lockout will be refunded to the fans.
According to the reports each team has the latitude to set some policies but the league will mandate refunds once it determines how many games are going to be played during the 2011 season.
As you see also in the discussion on NFP, the fans are not likely to embrace this policy with a lot of enthusiasm. The whole issue here is the damage that will be caused by two groups fighting over large sums of money and the fact that the public probably really sympathizes with neither group.
