Augusta joins forces with EA Sports

Augusta National is entering a new generation.   The club has probably leaped 3 generations ahead over the last 3 years.   It has gone from a place that would not even allow a telecast of all of the holes, to now stepping into the realm of allowing the course to be part of a video game.

The interesting part of the article is how much money has been donated to charities through the Masters.  The club has set up a new Masters Tournament Foundation and has reportedly donated $42 million over the last 13 years.   100% of the proceeds from the EA Sports deal are designated for the Foundation.
