Did LeSean McCoy stiff a nightclub?

Paul Domowitch of the Philadelphia Daily News writes that LeSean McCoy was scheduled to appear March 11 at a nightclub in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., for a meet and greet.  According to Bentley’s (the club where the event was to be held) the club has been unable to contact the McCoys to obtain a return of the $2500 advance it paid to him for the autograph session.

Apparently McCoy suffered a flat tire on the way to the event. Bentley’s offered to send a ride to pick him up but the vehicle would not have been big enough for McCoy, his brother and his personal security team.

“LeSean has always been known for his maturity and good-natured attitude,’’ LeRon told Domowitch. “The last thing he would do is stiff a club out of money or disappoint fans.

“His image is very important to him. And because he’s young, at times he doesn’t know the gravity of certain situations. Which is why I take the blame for the whole debacle.’’

Hopefully this is just a sitaution where he has not got around to paying it yet rather than intentionally stiffing the club.
