From The Bench recently covered the article that New Mexico Lobos’ Deshon Marman was arrested from events that stemmed from his alleged refusal to pull up his saggy pants.
In a statement issued by UNM, Marman said the incident is “not representative of either myself or the University of New Mexico football program.”
Marman further said that he pulled up his pants as the U.S. Airways agent requested. In any event, Marman assured that the true facts will come to light soon and then declined to comment any further.
Marman was removed from an airplane on suspicion of trespassing, battery, and resisting arrest as he was trying to return to UNM after attending a childhood friend’s funeral.
