Domain name thief sentenced

A New Jersey man admitted to illegally accessing the domain address P2P.com and then selling it to former Los Angeles Laker and Minnesotta Timberwolf Mark Madsen.

Madsen is best know for his entertaining “dancing” at the Lakers championship celebrations.

Daniel Goncalves pleaded guilty in December to stealing the P2P.com domain name and selling it on the eBay auction website for $111,000. He was sentenced Friday and was ordered to pay restitution.
