TEEN tennis ace Bernard Tomic could soon be in court rather than on court after an extraordinary stand-off with police at his Gold Coast home yesterday.
The 19-year-old Wimbledon quarter-finalist and P-plate driver was slapped with two separate $300 infringements in two hours yesterday while spinning around the Coast in his $150,000 orange BMW sports car.
Police are investigating allegations Tomic refused a direction to stop a third time and was followed to his luxury Southport home by a police car with its lights flashing.
Police reported the world No.38, whose licence they had seized, had locked himself in the house and refused to come out.
